ok so just quickly

my stats are bad coz of a few things mostly the pregame nerves i get but every1 will vouch that once they went away i played well. it was also 5am when game started, i hadnt had coffee, and ive also got the flu!

anyway as ota said much has to be improved for next match. briefly the main things were

- communication (lazy/disorganized spec freq)
- playing smarter (uneven flanks/swing and nme/swing ratio etc)
- holding corners at nme better (a bit too much of every1 performing the same rush/some following anothers movements)

they are the main things

we will probably hold another squad match soon and talk over these things before the game in what might be a 1 or 1.5 hour prac.

I agree with your failure at the beginning of match, and after you warmed up a bit
you definitely played 10x better.

I vehemently disagree with your 'lazy' label of the spec freq. You may not have seen all of it, but I was pretty much typing during almost all of the match, whether it was calling %, or bouncing an idea of otaku/mice, or calling a flank, or moving a person from attack to defense/vice versa..

I personally think the beginning of the match was fine. In terms of numbers, we usually had 4 on defense against their 5 man attack, and from time to time a 5th was taken from attack to help defense hold, and overall it worked out really well. We only lost our base once.
At the end of the match, we had 27/30 flags with the last three carried by a red in our base. They got 99% in, but we held strong and pushed out, flank sandwiched, heath lag attached, killed red, and we stood our ground on defense (even XCed them) til the last ding.

I was both in spec and playing, so I got a little more perspective on how things went -- While playing, there wasn't anyone in spec to help call, which puts more pressure on the anchors to be aware of more things. However, in spec, I tried to call % of both home, nme, and flank when I could. I think if we get a better showing (and people who are willing to sit in spec and call % and not worry so much about playing ) It'll definitely make communication less of an issue.

I had fun, it was a good game, and in the end (despite our shortcomings) we prevailed.

Oh, yes,

I forgot to say you were the exception on speccing. But you were doing it all yourself and couldn't be in all places at once.

I remember Merc saying how great you did in spec too. So I apologize.

btw kick smoking baby. as soon as he logged on for match finds out coz he aint playing etc he leaves. or something along those lines. he showed to prac for 5mins.

show was:

heath, ota, bong fu, merc, bull, alan, piu, ocb, mice, haru, nocive, furi, viti, persian (very last few minutes of game), schwapper, telecaster

positions changed as people lagged out or left etc

but from my glancing it seemed this is what happened throughout the 103 mins.

these people were in entire game:

heath (a1), alan (s1/front when mice lagged i think), nocive (fa), otaku (fs)

people in for most of game (lagged out once or twice):

merc (nme anch), mice (mfr)

people who played quite a bit but either came to game late, left somewhere in the first half or subbed in last half or something:

viti (attack - were planning on having him a1 but his lag was havoc he ended up leaving somewhere like after 1 third of game), ocb (attack - came in and out twice?), furi (s1 when alan fronted/s2 after that?), haruhi (swing replacing tele? for final third of match), bulldogg (s3? but mostly attacking coz home was doing fine most of game), telecaster (nme anchor when merc lagged/swing otherwise)

people with cameos:

bong fu (attack), schwapper (attack), piu (attack - something happened on his comp he played for a bit and left)

Fucking lag out. Was a spike. Literally 2 seconds after it happened my lag was fine again. I had to relog and then I was able to play again. The lagout occurred when we were already about 80%... We droped to about 90 - 95%. I played the whole game except for the 3 minutes for my lag.

rk <3 show up next time to witness my rape mfronting skills. I pracced in pub (mixfreq) and pickup (TP) since about 10 AM rofl. Here is my opinion on what needs fixing:::: PS at least half of my deaths were from attacking at nme.

Speccers: Other than seoul all were useless. Bong called when some1 requested. Bettter than the rest at least.

NME: No complaints since I wasn't really in the action except that one time we lost home. Even when that happened, we were already at 85% and we took fr fast.

HOME: MFront worked out well. I just need a ball or a flag. The entire time I had no specials and only died when pm'ing swings special instructions. (I need to work on that. I am gonna create macros esp for fronting... I think I had them at one pt but lost them). Swings need to sc when I tell them to. I was spamming for a lanc and took 4 mins and 20% for a sc to come. And when that happened, it was Alan.... who sc'd and he is MUCH better in a spider than a lanc. I liked bull in lanc and furi was good too. Furi sucks at passing ball. He passed it to nme thru the wall during their second to last attack when we were at like 75% with all flags and a flank. Rofl. I need to prac mfront some more. Hell we all need to prac a lot more.

SO:
FURI LEARN TO PASS BALL YOU FAG
FURI LEARN TO SC.

I STILL LOVE YOU THOUGH.

seems like communication is a problem. theres a simple solution for all of this: teamspeak. ive got a mic now and im sure some of u have them aswell. but basically only 1 person needs it, specleader. everyone else only needs to listen to him. EG ts server is down tho and i dont know how to set that shit up...

i dont really play with sound either

u kno how?

turn sound on

and delete any of the sound files in the C:/Program Files/continuum/sound directory that u dont like

for example bombs/guns/greens/free flag pickup/engine sounds

i just left the sounds when u get PMs, perform attaches, switch off an item (x/cloak etc) and use specials.

it works really well.
